Richard Cobden Awarded School Games Gold Mark 2024/25!

We are delighted to announce that Richard Cobden has achieved the School Games Gold Mark Award for the 2024/25 academic year.
The School Games Mark is a government-led award scheme, launched in 2012 and facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust, which rewards schools for their commitment to the development of competition within school and across the wider community. We are thrilled to have been recognised for our success.
We are extremely proud of our pupils for their dedication to all aspects of school sport – including the young volunteers, leaders, and officials who helped make our competitions possible.
As part of our application, we were required to meet criteria in the areas of participation, competition, workforce, and clubs. We are pleased that the hard work of everyone at Richard Cobden has been recognised and rewarded this year.
