Robotics Challenge – Code Club Visit to Google London
Our Year 6 Code Club students were given the incredible opportunity to tour the Google offices in London and engage in inspiring conversations with Googlers. It was an enriching experience, sparking excitement and curiosity about the world of technology.
The highlight of the visit was a thrilling robotics challenge, where the students programmed Sphero robots to navigate an obstacle course without touching any barriers. Our budding programmers planned meticulously, measuring distances and coding the robots with precision. Thanks to their experience in Code Club, they were able to successfully guide the Spheros through the course, demonstrating their skills and teamwork.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Borja, Dima, and Elliot from Google for organizing this memorable trip, and to Mira for conducting an engaging workshop for the children. Your efforts have left a lasting impact on our students!
