Congratulations to all of our KS2 students for receiving a runner-up award from the Mayor of Camden at the School Sports Celebration event.
Congratulations to all our students for helping the school to achieve a School Games Gold Mark. This has been awarded to Richard Cobden for the school’s commitment to PE and sport in curriculum time and for all the competitions we have entered this year.
Congratulations to our A and B rounders teams for both finishing in third place in the Camden Schools Rounders Competition at Parliament Hill Fields. It was a great performance from our squad and the school is now guaranteed at least third place in the Camden Schools Sports League.
Richard Cobden held its first ever Humanities Day last week – a very exciting new event in the school calendar which involves both a speech competition and an international fair.
We invited family and friends into school for some special end-of-year music concerts. Year 4 and 5 have been practising and rehearsing hard to prepare wonderful performances that showcased the skills they have developed on the violin and recorder this year in music lessons. We also had performances by children in Year 2, 3, 4 and 5 who have been learning to play the piano in school.
Well done to our boys’ and girls’ football teams for some great performances in the Camden Schools Football Competition at Coram’s Fields!
