3 Hazel visited Hampstead Heath on a beautiful, sunny day to take part in a modern survival workshop. The children imagined being stranded in the middle of the woods and discussed the importance of warmth, shelter, water and food. Teams fought for their survival by making shelters with natural materials and one bag of tools and helpful items. Afterwards, students put their fire-making skills to the test. They finished off their trip with a lovely picnic lunch in the sunshine.
