5 Birch enjoyed a fascinating botany workshop with Mr Smith, our resident gardener. The children were captivated by the history of the giant sunflower, learning how it travelled from the Americas to Russia and eventually became known as the Mommoth Russian. Each child planted their own Mammoth Russian sunflower seed and the class are very excited to see whose sunflower will grows the tallest! Watch this space!
