Last week Year 3 visited the British Museum to explore the ancient Egyptian galleries. The children were excited to be in such an enormous building filled with artefacts from the past and from all over the world. They thoroughly enjoyed looking at the mummies and their tombs, as well as a variety of everyday objects and artwork from ancient Egyptian times. Many of the children were curious to discover what else there was to see in the museum, and been asking to go back again so they can find out!
