Camden Active Schools Awards

Children from Year 5 and 6 were invited to a special ceremony to celebrate the fantastic achievements of our sports teams this academic year. The event was hosted by the mayor of Camden, who awarded trophies to the best performing Camden schools, sports teams and individuals. More than forty schools participated in the Camden Active Schools League, which recognises participation and results in a wide range of sporting competitions.

Richard Cobden finished in third place overall with five hundred points, our highest ever score! The school entered more than thirty competitions this year, of which particular highlights were:

Boys Football League: 4th Place
Year 4 Benchball: 4th Place
Sports Hall Athletics: 4th Place
