Year 5 visited the British Library to take part in a Chinese calligraphy workshop. The children learnt the correct way to hold a Chinese calligraphy brush and had a go at writing a poem by the famous Chinese poet Xu Zhimo. Â Afterwards, the children explored the British and Chinese exhibition to learn about the history and culture of Chinese communities in the UK.
