Our Code Club children had a fantastic day visiting the club volunteers in their workplace, FutureLearn. The club members did a tour of the building and watched computer scientists at work. They planned and designed a website by writing their ideas on a wall, just like software engineers do. The children learned the importance of teamwork to find solutions to problems when coding. All members received a certificate for their hard work this term. We would like to thank all Code Club volunteers (Matt, Tara, Nicky, Aleks and Finola from FutureLearn and Rosália and Borja from Google) for their continued help and support running the clubs in our school and for inspiring the next generation of computer scientists.
