4 Cedar have been learning about the city states of Ancient Greece and the main differences between them. We understand why they argued so much! We had a debate where each side had the opportunity to argue their good points (pros) without interruption. We took notes from the opposing side and came up with ‘counter arguments’ where we got to directly challenge others, with respect. Everyone was given a choice after each round to change or choose a side (if they were neutral) and give a reason for their decision. We learnt that we all have our own opinion and choice and sometimes it is not easy to come to a group decision, but that is okay too.
