As part of their ‘Into the Garden’ summer topic, Year 2 have been working with an education and environment charity (Global Generation) to redesign our roof garden space. Last week the children visited the Skip Garden at King’s Cross for inspiration on how to transform an urban environment into an inviting space for nature and wildlife. They returned to school full of ideas and have been creating models of their roof garden designs. They used a range of materials and techniques to make their model gardens, including clay modelling and felting. We look forward to seeing the finished designs soon!
