Year 1 have been exploring long and short sounds with their voices and instruments and they created sequences of long and short sounds to accompany a song. Throughout this half-term the children have been enjoying learning to sing new songs together, experimenting with body percussion and vocal sounds. They have also been developing their skills in handling and controlling percussion instruments and responding to musical signals and symbols.
