Year 1 had lots of fun in science exploring how different materials float and sink. The children conducted an investigation into which materials float and which materials sink and they made lots of interesting predictions! They then used the knowledge gained from the investigation to work independently to design and create their own boats. Each boat looked very different, but they were all able to float!
