Year 1 were excited to welcome flautist Susanna Bailey, cellist Timothee Botbol and The Musicians’ Company representative David Wakefield to our school today. The children were introduced to the flute and the cello and enjoyed listening to the professional musicians perform together. They explored the elements of music through some fun musical games and were able to ask Susanna and Timothee questions about their instruments and life as a professional musician.
