Reception Ash and Oak were excited to take part in gardening workshops with our resident gardening expert, Mr Smith. It was a great opportunity for the children to learn about seeds and the places where we can find them. The children enjoyed examining and tasting the coconut that Mr Francis cracked open and they burst some green beans to locate the seeds inside. They discovered what a ‘sleeping’ seed needs in order to ‘wake up’ and then planted their own seeds. We eagerly await the transformation of their seeds over the coming weeks!
