Nursery and Reception classes visited Kings Place to attend the Aurora Orchestra’s ‘Mozart in the Garden’ EYFS concert. The concert featured chamber arrangements of Mozart’s music and an original story from Kate Wakeling, critically-acclaimed poet. During the immersive storytelling session, the children took a playful stroll around Mozart’s garden and were invited to wander among the lavender, wiggle with worms and snooze to the music of a twinkling firefly. After the concert the children were able to meet the musicians and explore the flute, harp and cello up-close.
