Community artists Toni and Gordon of No Added Sugar returned to Richard Cobden this term to facilitate another fabulous art project. Children from Year 4, 5 and 6 worked with Toni and Gordon to create large-scale artwork to feature permanently on the stairwell walls. Making art outside of the classroom gave the children a real freedom to express themselves creatively, as well as the opportunity to work with materials and tools they had not used before. The experience of working collaboratively to develop significant pieces of artwork for display was very exciting and rewarding for the children.
