3 Hazel discussed the importance of Remembrance Day and the significance of red poppies as a symbol of support for the Armed Forces communities. During their art lesson, the children dyed the ‘Ode to Remembrance’ in black tea and tore the edges to give it an antique appearance. They then drew some poppies over the ‘Ode to Remembrance ’ using felt tip pens.
