World Book Day was a fantastic opportunity for the whole school to celebrate their love of books and reading together.  The children enjoyed special assemblies, sharing stories and dressing up as their favourite characters.

Year 6 have been learning about light and the colour spectrum.  The children conducted an experiment where they used a prism to split the light and create a rainbow. They also made their own spinning colour wheels.

Year 2 have been learning how to write instructions.  Today they put their writing to the test and made hummus! After a lot of mashing and mixing, the class ate it with carrots and pitta.  Delicious!
