To enrich their topic learning on the Blitz, Year 6 visited the Imperial War Museum. The children saw many pictures and artefacts from World War II and this helped to give them a deeper understanding of this period in history. They also visited the ’Extraordinary Heroes’ exhibition where they were able to explore the stories of courageous men, women and children who performed great acts of bravery to help other people in need.
