1 Elm have been learning about their senses in science lessons this week. The children carried out observations of what they could see, hear and touch in the playground. They also collected data by tasting various bitter, sour, salty and sweet flavours and voting on their favourite taste. Finally, they took part in a scent investigation involving perfume and garlic and various other items (the cat food was an unpopular smell!).
