On Thursday 3rd March, we celebrated World Book Day. Children came into school dressed as their favourite book character – from Harry Potter to Willy Wonka. In the afternoon, children swapped classes to read and do art and craft activities together, inspired by the books they are reading. The older children did a fantastic job of helping the younger children and reading to them.
It was our first World Book Day since before the pandemic, so it was extra special to see the children dressing up and celebrating the joy of reading! Thank you to everyone for making it such a special day.
