Year 3 concluded their Stone Age topic learning with an exciting design and technology project. Following their trip to Hampstead Heath where they built real-life shelters, the children had lots of ideas about how to construct strong and spacious tents. They designed and constructed mini Stone Age camps using straws, plasticine and tissue paper to recreate branches, animal skins and rocks. It was also a fantastic opportunity to practise their teamwork skills with a partner.
