As we are not able to go on trips at the moment, the museum came to the classroom.
Thanks to an excellent selection of artefacts from the Schools Library Service, we were able to set up the classroom as a Roman gallery.
At each “case” were some original objects and some replicas.
The children were asked to identify several “mystery” items as well as gather information about some more familiar items, such as Roman coins, togas, tunics and sandals.
