Year 4 Mathematicians

This week Year Four have been creating their own ‘Mini-Me’ – a half-size stick person version of themselves made using paper strips. First, the children practised their measuring skills by measuring the parts of their bodies. Their next challenge was to halve all their measurements, which was a great opportunity to practise dividing by two. They then built their Mini-Me by measuring, cutting and sticking together paper strips to represent the different body parts. The children persevered, showing great resilience in their learning.

Half the size but double the fun!
