Year 4 took part in a workshop with the Thames Explorer Trust to learn about the importance of the Thames Estuary in world trade. The children discovered that a lot of our goods (the clothes we wear, the food we eat and the resources we use) are imported from other countries, transported here on huge cargo ships from all over the world.
