Year 5 went on a trip to Google and took a tour around the building and offices, including the rooftop cafe! The children listened to a presentation about the company and learned that there are many ways to work for Google and that the employees come from many different backgrounds. We also learned that Google like to keep their employees happy and healthy while working at the company (for example with free food and a free gym!). On our return to school, the children wrote a recount of the event and our experiences.
