Year 6 started the term with a team-building challenge. In groups, they had to build a tower using newspaper and masking tape, earning points for being the tallest, strongest or the best designed. Both classes showed some excellent teamwork and demonstrated all four Learning Power skills — Reciprocity, Resilience, Resourcefulness and Reflectiveness. It was also a fantastic opportunity to practise their talk skills. The children’s creations were impressive – one group’s tower was strong enough to hold a whopping nine thesauruses!
