Year 6 have been taking part in an immersive learning project based on life in the Victorian times, creating a repellent to ward off vampires. The children selected and mixed appropriate ingredients, and then designed a bottle and label for their repellent. This activity required them to demonstrate a number of learning skills, including analysing and evaluating, while also applying their newly-acquired knowledge of the Victorian era.
