Last week we were very lucky to have the author, Zanib Mian, visiting Key Stage 2. While she was here, she gave an assembly where she told us all about her experiences as a writer and how she wrote the popular ‘Planet Omar’ books. We found out that many of the characters in her books are based on real people! Zanib also gave us a sneak peak into the latest ‘Planet Omar’ book, in which Omar gets blamed for something he didn’t do. After the assembly, Zanib was kind enough to sign her books for children in the library. We thoroughly enjoyed Zanib’s visit and can’t wait to read her next book!
