Year 6 Iroko and Jacaranda – Junior Citizen Day
This week, our Year 6 Jacaranda and Iroko classes took part in the Junior Citizen workshop in Kentish Town. The event was part of the Junior Citizenship Scheme, supported by Transport for London, which helps children learn how to stay safe and make sensible decisions in real-life situations.
During the visit, the pupils met with police officers, firefighters, and paramedics who shared important lessons about personal safety, emergency response, and being responsible members of the community. It was a fun and engaging experience that helped our Year 6 children develop confidence, independence, and key life skills as they prepare for their move to secondary school.
