An Unforgettable Year 6 Visit to the Emirates Stadium
Last week, both Year 6 classes took part in an exciting visit to the Emirates Stadium, home of Arsenal Football Club. During our visit, the children had the opportunity to participate in a range of football and sports activities, developing their teamwork and physical skills. We then toured the impressive stadium, including a special look inside the players’ changing rooms and the Directors Box seating areas with a fantastic view of the pitch.
Our hosts also provided engaging workshops focused on LGBT+ awareness and inclusion, giving pupils the chance to reflect on respect, diversity and the importance of creating an inclusive community. After a wonderful and memorable day, the children returned to school full of excitement and new experiences. We look forward to many more trips and visits in the future. We would like to thank all the parents who accompanied us on the trip, as well as the organisers for delivering such interesting sessions and making this fantastic event possible.
